French 1 Cultural Project You will choose a topic for your presentation and a date for when to present this topic. You will be responsible for having your paper and presentation prepared and ready by the due date you are assigned. (Come see me to sign up for an available date. First come, first serve.) This project will be in collaboration with your 9th grade English class. The Cultural Projects assigned will be about a French region or Parisian monument/place. Below are the items that need to be included in the paper and verbal presentation. Written Portion: You will write a 1-2 page paper about your topic. This paper will be written in English. You need an introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The rough draft is due on September 12th. The final draft is due on September 27th. Picardy Region (Picardie) – local cuisine; northern part of France. Poitou Charentes Region - is filled with Romanesque art, parks and gardens Provence-Alpes-Cote-d'Azur Region - overlooks the Mediterranean Sea; cities Cannes and Nice.
